The Bridal Train - Frank O. Salisbury
Frank O' Salisbury. Painter Laureate by Nigel McMurray, p. 87
The portrait of Miss Monica Salisbury as Bride was a wedding present. Her six bridesmaids were depicted separately, in The Bridal Train in which they carry the filmy drapery of the bridal train, behind the bride, though the bride is not depicted in the portrait. Each bridesmaid was a blond of exactly the same shade and all were dressed in flesh pink. The bridesmaids carry roses and have rose chaplets in their hair."
